In the NaaS exhibition center, Chen Hengzhi and his delegation built up a full picture of NaaS’ development and operation and innovation practice in green and low-carbon energy supply for transport. NaaS listed on NASDAQ on June 13, 2022.As the first Anji-based EV charging service provider listed on NASDAQ, NaaS delivers one-stop industry solutions from charging station site selection consulting to software/hardware procurement, EPC engineering, operation & maintenance, energy storage, PV, virtual power plant (VPP) and autonomous charging robots inclusive, and increases industrial efficiency leveraging digital technology and AI.

Consistently upholding “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, Zhejiang Province is an exemplary pioneer of advancing high-standard development of eco-civilization. Instrumental in the development of eco-civilization, new energy industry is conducive for promoting regional economy and green and low-carbon sustainability. Since earlier this year, the province has stepped up its work to improve charging infrastructure network. Till the end of June 2023, Zhejiang Province ranked the third in the country with 9,691 battery charging and swapping stations and 93,320 chargers cumulatively completed. And consequently, EVs accounted for over 40% of the province’s total vehicles. In the process, NaaS, on principles of “quick pile search, low cost and optimal service”, has been devoted to building a multi-tiered energy supply network and fueling rural accessibility of new energy in the province.

Lately, the first National Ecology Day event was held at Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. As a new energy enterprise that originated from Anji, Huzhou City, NaaS joined the event. Speaking during the event, Wang Yang, Founder and CEO of NaaS, defined eco-civilization as a crucial direction of development in China, and pledged NaaS will unswervingly communicate and champion “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”. Building a “bridge” in the new energy industry, NaaS will push forward green and low-carbon transformation in modes of production and lifestyles.

Seeking further green development in transport energy sector, NaaS hastens technology implementation and innovation in integrated PV-storage-charging, VPP, B&B charging, automatic charging robots, etc. For integrated PV-storage-charging+VPP integration, NaaS, with charging stations at the core, makes arrangements in photovoltaic power generation and energy storage system, constructs microgrids, engages in large grid peak clipping and valley filling, and realizes smart power scheduling. In July, NaaS’ VPP passed the capacity test of Shenzhen VPP management platform, China’s first grid-ground integrated VPP operation management platform, thus accredited as a Shenzhen VPP load aggregator; and the integrated PV-storage-charging demonstration station in the Bamboo Expo Park, Anji, Zhejiang Province was rated one of major sites for pooling together VPP resources. In response to the national policy of rural accessibility of new energy, NaaS and Smart Order, an integrated hotel IT solution provider, established a joint venture--Smart Charging. Making a foray into B&B charging service market, the joint venture is intended to make sure that “charging infrastructure are built, managed and maintained” in the countryside.

Revolving around green and low-carbon development in the industry, NaaS takes multi-pronged measures of green source, green station and green use to push forward reduction of carbon emissions in all procedures of charging service. In 2022, NewLink reduced carbon emissions of 1.8477 million tons, 106.22% higher than a year earlier. Recently, NaaS has become China’s first new energy charging service provider that joins “Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)” with ambitious targets, with a view to limiting global warning to 1.5℃ together with other world leaders in new energy industry.

Facing new energy reform that sweeps the world, NaaS will align its business development with national carbon neutrality strategy, improve new energy charging infrastructure building and elevate charging operation service standard with continuous effort, in a bid to contribute to green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the regional economy.
